Assistant Kitchen Manager

Full-time • $22 - $28 Hour • Health Insurance • 401K Match

Overview

We’re looking for a strong, hands-on kitchen leader who thrives in a coaching role. As an Assistant Kitchen Manager, you’ll help drive daily execution, support our kitchen team, and contribute to the long-term success of Klavon’s. This is a growth-focused leadership role with clear pathways for advancement and involvement in future concepts.

Qualifications

• 2 years of kitchen experience in a high-volume restaurant environment
• Effective communicator (in-person and in writing)
• Organized and dependable with strong attention to detail
• Strong understanding of food safety, station flow, and prep systems (ServSafe certification or equivalent preferred)
• Comfortable mentoring and holding others accountable
• Able to work evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

• Coach kitchen staff on execution, flow, and timing
• Uphold food quality, portioning, and sanitation standards
• Maintain station organization, inventory rotation, and prep systems
• Support scheduling, ordering, and food cost awareness
• Help with evaluations, hiring, and team development
• Collaborate closely with the kitchen leadership team
